Strength section bugs and annoyance

The strength exercise section of the Connect App really needs some love from the developers. It works, but it has so many bugs and weird choices that are so easy to fix.

The worst bugs are since the latest update: I am not able to change the number of sets and reps afterwards in the app on iOS. It just won’t save them, which is *** if you wrongly clicked on your watch. That’s one of the most basic functionalities just not tested correctly. Also, the bulk change option is not working anymore with most exercises (and it has never worked with deadlifts for some weird reason).

Next to that, please, please, please (!!!) give us the opportunity to add our own exercises. The current list is just awful. It has millions of exercise variations - some translated, some in *** English - that no one knows or uses, while a nordic curl or archer push up isn’t in the list.

  • I echo these comments.  It was buggy before the upgrade (recent exercises weren't accurate, occasional issues where you couldn't save the amount of weight or reps (like a corrupt database).  Now I can't save any weights reps or amount of weight.  Very frustrating.  The app quality is so poor compared to Garmin's outstanding hardware products.

  • I totally agree. It has like 10 variations of one exercise, except the one mainstream one I use. I'm trying to figure out who and where from did they get this info. Secondly, I finally stopped wasting my time with it. I use another primary app any ways and was double tracking my workouts on both. It was such a time waste trying to find the Garmin exercises that didn't' correlate . I finally just count the sets and weights and leave it be.

Then yesterday I noticed that if you are doing superset or more than one exercise and going between the two, that if you log it wrong you used to could rearrange them. Well no... that function doesn't work right anymore. Got on with Garmin support and they basically just tried to sell me a $900 new watch. Saying all iOS app issues were watch related. It was all I could do not to laugh in their face. Complete morons. If I know more about Garmin than someone working there, then they are wasting my time. And the issue will never be resolved.
