Glitch in list of Recent exercises for a Strength activity

Do Garmin support staff have a presence in this forum?

There is a glitch in the Recent list of Exercises on a Strength activity.

Some exercises which I haven't done for months stay on the list, such as Alternating Dumbbell Lunge and Single-leg RDL Circuit.

Other exercises which I do once a week get kicked off.  For example, I updated the Exercises for this past Friday's gym session to select "Leg Press."  Then I edited the Strength activity from Monday to select "Barbell Back Squat" because selecting "Leg Press" kicked it off the list.  I regularly do Leg Press and Barbell Back Squat once a week so my expectation is that they remain on the Recent list.  Yet somehow, Alternating Dumbbell Lunge and Single-leg RDL Circuit remain on the list when I haven't done them for months.  "Weighted leg curl" also remains on the Recent list when I haven't done that in ages.

  • This is with the Garmin Connect iOS app version 5.20.4.1 but did not recently start happening.  This glitch has been present for about the past year.

    If solving the automatic maintenance of Recent strength exercises isn't feasible then I would suggest giving the user the possibility to manually delete items from the Recent list to make space for other more recent strength exercises.
