Phone number blocked for verification for a new created Garmin account so cannot activate my Mini 2

Hello Garmin Support,

I recently just created a newly created account via Garmin Explore on iOS. I paired my inReach Mini 2, and it shows as registered, but cannot activated it. 

However, when I open Garmin Messages and add my  phone number I receive the error:

“Your phone is blocked for verifying”

Because of this, I cannot fully activate my device, get a subscription or send/receive messages via Garmin Messages.

Could you please  advise how I can bypass this verification so my Mini 2 can be fully activated?
