Feature Request: Show % of Days Step Goal Met (Weekly / Monthly / Yearly)

Hi Garmin Team and Community,

I’d like to request an enhancement to Garmin Connect’s step goal tracking.

Currently, the app focuses heavily on streaks (current and longest). While streaks are motivating, they can also be discouraging — especially after long periods of consistency. For example, missing a single day after 200 days resets the streak to zero, even though the overall habit is still very strong. After that happens, it can be hard to stay motivated.

Requested feature:

Add a metric that shows the percentage of days the step goal was met, with selectable views such as:

  • Weekly (e.g., 6/7 days → 86%)
  • Monthly (e.g., 26/30 days → 87%)
  • Yearly (e.g., 310/365 days → 85%)

This would:

  • Give a more realistic view of long-term consistency
  • Encourage users even when a streak is broken
  • Complement streaks rather than replace them
  • Better support habit-building and motivation over time

Even a simple summary card or stat (e.g., “Step goal met on 87% of days this month”) would be incredibly valuable.

I believe this would be a meaningful quality-of-life improvement for many Garmin users who care about consistency, not perfection.

Thanks for considering!
