Garmin Lifestyle Logging & Health Status: Everything You Need to know
Ray has it but it is only in beta. My guess is that only a select few have this beta feature right now and not even Ray was aware of this.
From his review video...
In my Garmin Connect app I added Lifestyle Logging as one of the bottom tabs for easy access.
Yep, watched his video today. The Vitals app on Apple Watch was the only thing keeping me from wearing my Garmin for sleep tracking. While the data collected is similar, the presentation and notifying of any outliers in the Vitals app just made it that much more helpful. Hoping this rolls out to the Fenix 8 line soon!
Hi, I also own a Fenix 8 and I don’t have this feature on Garmin Connect yet. Either Garmin is gradually rolling it out to everyone, or we’ll have to wait for the next quarterly release (or the beta version for the more curious).
See I’m confused because I enrolled in the Beta program but I still don’t see it.

From what I found on Ray Maker's blog:
Status depends on an update to each of the devices noted above. I suspect we’ll probably start seeing those public beta updates happen in the coming weeks.
The following devices will receive the Health Status feature within Garmin Connect (platform), once the devices receive an upcoming firmware update which in turn enables the server-side feature:
- Venu 3
- Vivoactive 5
- Forerunner 255/955
- Forerunner 165/265/965
- Fenix 7 Family (Fenix 7, Tactix7, Quatix7, Epix Gen 2, Epix Pro, Marq Gen 2, Fenix 7 Pro)
- Enduro 2
- Instinct 3/3E/Tactical
- Index Sleep Band
- Lily 2 Active
And then the next set of devices will receive the feature on both Garmin Connect (platform), as well as widgets on-device [currently on Venu 4]:
- Venu X1
- Vivoactive 6
- Forerunner 570/970
- Fenix 8 Family
- Enduro 3
- Tactix 8
- Quatix 8
The Health Status feature was activated today on my Garmin account. However, it requires 3–4 weeks of data after activation to work. I’m not enrolled in the beta software program for the Fenix 8 or any other device. I think Garmin is therefore doing a gradual rollout, possibly depending on the watches linked to the account.
Great ! Still nothing in the app on my side.
The web URL is also saying 3-4 weeks although I've been wearing a Garmin watch for sleep since more than 5 years :D
