Form goggles fit files won’t upload to connect saying “An error occurred with your upload”

I’ve been uploading my fit file from Form manually with success, but recently I’ve been getting the error message with no explanation as to why. I can upload to Strava with no problem so I don’t think the file has been corrupted in any way. Anyone else having problems with it?

  • Are you using Firefox or Safari to upload fit files? Have a look at this thread - Problems uploading .fit file using Firefox or Safari

If so, the current workaround is to use Edge or Chrome.

  • I was using safari on my iPad but I just download and tried chrome and same thing unfortunately

  • If you're still unable to import the activity into Garmin Connect, attach the file to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Also, the iPad version of Chrome is not quite the same as the desktop version. Mainly, in that the iOS version has historically been just a Chrome-skinned Safari under the hood. Apparently, what is needed for the workaround is a Chromium-based browser, which is used in Edge or Chrome for desktops, either Mac or Windows.
