I’ve been using Garmins course planner for a long time - but almost a year ago the map started to bug. A lot. And it hasn’t stopped. I’ve been patient thinking it was temporary (since it didn’t show up as a consequence of an update) but can’t stand it anymore.
The bug happens at any scale with either bigger chunks of the heat map showing at random places on the screen or the orthophoto doing the same thing. It’s really annoying since I can’t trust the map or see what I’m doing. I’ve reinstalled the app but it didn’t change anything. This problem happens in the app both on my IOS and MacBook.
Now I’m using Stravas course planning tool instead. Sad to see that Garmin can’t keep up. Would be nice to have this bug fixed or hear from someone that has solved it!
