Garmin publicly released Venu Sq 2 in September 2022. The first batch was likely manufactured already before that date. Looking at the folders and files on the watch storage may give you some clues. Connect the watch to a computer over the USB cable for that.
Many of the folders will have the timestamp of creation pointing to the date when the firmware was installed on them for the first time. There will many files and some folders with newer date (recreated during an update), and some of the files may be also older (copied from elsewhere together with the timestamp), but on my watch most folders incl. for example //GARMIN/Activity have the timestamp corresponding to the 1st installation of the firmware.
