The app rounds up (or down) for mileage but I want to see it as accurately as possible. All other brand devices I’ve owned have shown miles to two decimal places but I can’t seem to find this in the settings.

I would actually think that with the inherent accuracy (or lack thereof, depending on area) of the GPS signal, a single decimal mileage reading should be sufficient. If you want to see more decimal places, maybe have a look at the *.fit file created by your device. I had a look at a file created by my Garmin Edge 130 Plus using Fitfileviewer.com and the distance is shown with two decimals and the speed with 3 decimals. The latitude and longitude position is given with 6 decimal places.
