How can I reset my vivofit4. Nothing is working correctly

My vivofit4 no longer displays it's normal screens. I hit goal and it went to screen that starts out with "VER 3.0" If I hold the button down long enough it will cycle through a number of geometric patterns, but will not go back to the normal time display or any other normal displays.

Thanks for the links, but I cannot do either one. In one case it directs me to hold the button for 15 sec and release, but it does not reset. In the other case, it asks me to start from the "i" screen, but since my watch is no longer displaying the "i" screen, I can't perform the operation.

You could try removing the batteries, wait a moment, and then put them back (see Replacing the Batteries). If it does not help, I recommend reaching out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com. Use the Phone or Chat options for an instant response. Email exchanges usually take a few days.
