heart rate Forerunner 965 during indoor biking

When using Garmin Coach workouts on my indoor bike (Wahoo Kickr) the heart rate is not displayed on the workout screens on my Forerunner 965 during the workout, nor in the activity report. The activity minutes are also not taken into account in the weekly overview. The only bluetooth connections to devices I have are my phone, the indoor bike and my earphones.     Are you logging the ride with the watch?

    Is the heart rate being logged correctly for other activities? It is just for indoor bike it isn't working?

    Are you wearing the 965 for HR?

    If you use an external HR Strap try connecting the 965 to it using ANT+ because it has an unlimited number of connections. Bluetooth has limits.

    It’s just Indoor Biking. I’m following a Garmin Coach programme and the workouts are on my Forerunner. The Forerunner steers the resistence of the Wahoo Kickr. That’s all fine but it’s just the HR that isn’t shown on my watch nor is recorded in the workout. Intensity minutes are also missing.

    Is the wrist heart rate on? Do you see green lights on the backside of the watch?

    I would like to use my watch for the HR. The Forerunner at these moments would only have one active bluetooth connection ie. To the Kickr Hometrainer. 
    the Forerunner is not showing HR during the activity. The activity is logged correctly but without HR data and without intensity minutes.

    yes, it is. Setting is on Auto on the FR965

    ** UPDATE **: 
    As a test, I started a Bike Indoor session (without the Kickr): the HR was showing on the Forerunner. I then just powered the Kickr, and as soon as the connection (via ANT+) was found, the HR disappeared.
