Receiving WhatsApps notifications on Garmin watch, but not I phone text messages. How do I add that notification?

    Check iMessage notification settings on your iPhone and change to similar to WhatsApp has.

    I had the same issue where I wasn't getting my notifications for texts from Iphone to Garmin Venu 3 and was told the Garmin Connect App must be open and running in order for those notifications to come through.  As an avid closer of all apps on my iphone this was very difficult for me to do but Garmin doesn't seem to have any plan in place to fix this.
