Can't connect to app

I can't connect venu sq2 to app after using Garmin express. I keep getting error: I have re-started, deleted and re connected app many times. Also deleted Garmin express. Now what?  Garmin support are idiots. She actually tole me to put my watch in water for ten minutes and see if that works.  Wish I was kidding

  • Sounds like you use two different Garmin accounts. One for Garmin Express, and a different one in the Connect app. Sign out of the app, and then sign in back with the same credentials you use in Garmin Express. You can find the email address used in GE, on the Info tab, when you open the menu Tools & Content for your Venu 2 Sq

  • I just now deleted my watch from garmin express. Still not connecting to app on iphone.  I never used garmin express before (in the 7 months i've had this watch) and when talking to support about my watch starting and stopping random activities, they told me to log into garmi express.  Ever since then, i can't connect to the app.  ALSO, when talking to garmin support, they said i have only one account.  I'm so confused and irritated by this issue.  I've restarted phone; logged out of app, deleted app and shut down phone, re opened app and logged in.  NUMEROUS TIMES.  alos have shut down my watch and back on. NOTHING works.  The app just keeps searching for my watch...

  • To connect to the app you must first remove the watch from bluetooth devices in the phone. After that open Garmin Connect and add the watch. You should never add it to bluetooth devices yourself. Garmin Connect will handle that for you.

    Garmin Support probably thought a button was stuck and that is why they asked you to put it in water. That usually makes button become unstuck again.
