Garmin Clipboard - Sharing Workout Libraries

We've been using Garmin Clipboard for a while now, it's been working very well for us.

There's a few features we'd love to exist, not sure if they don't exist or we just can't find them.

One is the ability to share workouts between our coaches. We have multiple coaches and they often like to set similar sessions, and it's very tedious each of them manually copying each other's workouts. Would be nice to be able to share, or export/import.

Another great feature would be the ability to create plans for re-use. We often use this to train for a marathon and have a 12 week plan. Each time, we need to manually punch in every individual session. Would be nice to create a template and just drop all the pre-planned sessions offset from a specific start or end date.

Anyone know how to do any of the above without a lot of mindless error-prone tap-tap-tap?

    There are a few options:

    • Invite the other coaches to one of your teams on Garmin Clipboard - they'll have the access to the team workouts too
    • On newer Garmin watches, you can use Garmin Share for sending workouts from one device to another one over Bluetooth
    • You can also transfer workouts between watches over the USB cable - download the workouts from the folder //GARMIN/Workouts on one watch, and then copy them to the other device. The advantage is that you can move all workouts at a time.
    • There is a 3rd party Chrome extension for sharing workouts from within Garmin Connect Web: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/share-your-garmin-connect/kdpolhnlnkengkmfncjdbfdehglepmff
    • Have a look at https://sports.garmin.com/ - you can not only share workouts, but you can also create training plans there
