Forerunner 945: Sleep data for the past week has been missing. How do I begin to record my sleep again

As the question in the title states: my watch has not been sending any sleep data to Connect for the past 5-6 days. I had one errant night of sleep, and after that my watch has not measured my sleep. Any help on troubleshooting would be really appreciated!

  • Restart watch. Hold top left button until watch shuts down and then start again.

  • Solution: I had to push the data from the watch to my phone via wifi. This was done by holding the top left button > sync > press bottom right button to sync with wifi (I previously had this setting as sync with phone). After the Sync, my sleep data appeared for the previous week. 

  • Solution: I had to manually push the watch data from the watch to my phone via wifi. To do this, I held the top left button on the watch > sync > pressed the bottom right button to "sync using wireless network." After the sync was complete, my sleep data appeared in the Garmin Connect IOS app.
