After app update: Significantly lower VO2max and always overtraining

Hi everyone,

until summer 2024 I was using a very old version of the Garmin Connect app because my very old Android device didn't get app updates anymore. Everything was working just fine. Then I got a new device (iOS) and I've been using up-to-date versions of Garmin Connect since then, where I have the following issues:

1. The VO2max value dropped by about 9 points even though I've been consistently training and nothing has changed

2. Almost always I get a training effect value of 5.0 (which is labeled as overtraining; the value doesn't show in the app, only on Runalyze, but it's part of the .fit file) - even after a 5 km easy run with low heart rate - there might be a connection to issue 1

3. Only activity data is synchronized, no heart rate during the day, no steps, no sleep data, no calories, ...

I've checked the set value of HFmax and other settings - nothing has changed. I'm very curious what might be the cause of these problems. Maybe my watch is too old? Its the Forerunner 35.
