Forerunner 965 - Pairing issue with IOS 18.3

I bought a Forerunner 965 recently. I tried to pair it with my Iphone 13, IOS 18.3 but it didn't work. I tried it with my older Iphone 11, IOS 18.3 and it worked. I would like to pair it with my new Iphone, I contacted Support but they could'tn help me either.Any idea?

Restarting - resetting the device didn't solve the issue.

    You must remove/forget the watch from the list of Bluetooth devices before attempting to pair it again!

    Yes, I have done that, removed it completely from the older phone, made sure there was nothing on the new phone. It does get connected to Bluetooth, it just won't appear in the Connect App. I keep getting the message that it failed to connect...

    That's wrong then. It must not be listed on the BT list of devices at all, otherwise you cannot pair it with Garmin Connect. You should not pair it from the BT menu of the phone, but exclusively only from Garmin Connect.

    That is what I do, scan the QR-code, go to the Connect App... it starts connecting and that is where it gets added to the BT list of devices but I still get the message it can't connect on the Connect App. I appreciate your feedback since I am willing to try everything I can to get it working. Thanks
