Bug Report: Can't save workout when rest step has no exercise

Editing existing workout with several rounds of exercise with rest steps in between.  After making changes I can't save the updated workout.  I keep getting prompted to select an exercise but the only items without an something selected are the Rest and recovery steps.  Rest steps won't allow me to select an exercise.  I switched everything to recovery and selected an exercise was a work around.

App Version 5.9.0.38

iPhone 16 Pro

    I have the same issue. Garmin updated the connect-app to 5.9.1.1 about three days ago. Whenever I try to save either a brand new workout or edit an existing one it asks me to add steps (which I figure it does for you as well?). 

    Hoping more comments and likes on this post will draw Garmins attention so they can fix it. Apparently it’s been an issue several times before.

    Save button disabled if no exercise is set for the rest period when trying to modify to time duration
