Connecting two phones

I would like to connect to my EPIX PRO with both my phone and iPad. Is this possible? Whenever I go to my Epix settings-connections- phone, it just defaults to my phone even when I have Garmin Connect on my iPad open and setup to add a device.

Turn off BT on the iPhone when connecting the iPad, and vice versa
