I’m encountering an issue where activities recorded using the Tacx Training App (iOS) only partially sync to Garmin Connect. While the activity appears in Garmin Connect, with heart rate and power charts visible within the activity details, the heart rate data does not show up in my timeline (calendar). Additionally, metrics like intensity minutes, training load, and training status are not updated.
When I record activities using my Tacx Neo 2T trainer via the Edge 840 Solar, all metrics sync perfectly, and no data is missing.
Details:
• Devices and Software:
• Garmin Connect App: Version 5.8
• Tacx Training App: Version 5.63.7
• Trainer: Tacx Neo 2T
• Bike Computer: Edge 840 Solar
• Heart Rate Monitor: HRM Dual
• Heart Rate Monitoring:
The HRM Dual is properly connected, and heart rate data appears in the activity details in Garmin Connect. However, it does not populate in the calendar or update related metrics such as intensity minutes, training load, or training status.
• Recording Process:
I record the activity directly in the Tacx Training App, without using the Edge 840 Solar. The activity is started and stopped in the Tacx app.
• Synchronization:
The Tacx Training App is set to auto-sync with Garmin Connect. The activity appears in Garmin Connect with power and heart rate charts, but related metrics remain missing.
• Firmware and Updates:
All devices and apps are updated to the latest versions.
• Additional Context:
• This issue has persisted since I started using the Tacx Training App; it has never worked as expected.
• I have not taken troubleshooting steps yet as I’m unsure where to begin.
Question:
Why is the activity recorded in the Tacx Training App only partially syncing to Garmin Connect? How can I ensure that heart rate data is fully integrated into the timeline and that metrics like intensity minutes, training load, and training status are updated?
Thank you for your help!
