Garmin Connect App IOS - Swim Lap Pace showing wrong unit of measure

For my last few workouts, I've noticed that even though my pool length is set to meters, as is my trainingpeaks workout (which is downloaded automatically to my watch), and when I view results on the app the main metrics are in meters, but then all the laps are converted to yards and secs/yard for the lap times. I use a Garmin Fenix 7. I can't find a way to adjust the metrics to show me my lap and pace information in meters again since the unit of measure overall is still set to metric.

  • You have to change the units at Training Peaks (Settings - Equipment - Pools - expand 25 m pool - set Enable Default - save and exit)

  • I’m having this same issue and I have a Fenix 7s. I just noticed it today, and my total distance and lap splits have definitely been in meters up until now. I don’t sync with Training Peaks, so I don’t think that is the issue. I think it’s a Garmin mobile app issue (results on desktop are correct).

  • My default pool is already set to 25m in training peaks, and has been for quite some time. I'm not sure why it would suddenly switch the lap readout though

  • Confirmed on my end - It's only in the app. And interestingly my total distance shows in meters on the app, but then the lap times in the app are in yards. Seems like this started happening after I updated my device the last time.
