Hi. I receive on my 7s pro notification for: sms, mail, whatzup and incoming call. On the connect app, under de fenix device i can toggle: status, call, sms, apps. If i turn off apps, i dont receive notification for mail and whatzup. How can I set to not reveive notification for mail but keep whatzup? I want to set it individual for different devices: fenix and edge 840. thanks.

    Thanks for the link. Yes I use a iOS device. This video guide explains how to set smart notification. Basically what is displayed as a notification on the iphone is also displayed on the fenix. But this is not what i want. I.e. currently i have not enabled for whatzup and email on my iphone screen a notification but i still get a notification on my fenix. This behaviour makes sence because i guess its a notification and not a smart notification. But now i would like to turn off email notification and keep whatzupp. If i do it like on the linked video then this applies for all my garmindevices and not only for the fenix.

    Disable only the Notification Center for the email app, and keep other settings for it as shown in the Support article. You will continue getting notifications on the phone, while notifications for email will not show up on the watch.

    Thanks. To clarify, is this a work arround? With this proposed solution i would not receive email notification on all my garmin devices? But this solution does not help me. I like to have on my Fenix which i use everyday different notification settings then for the edge840 device. If i set the settings on the iphone notification settings then this applies always for all garmin devices. Or am i wrong?

    at time 0:38 there is shown a menu point: appnotifications. Is this on the latest connect version still available? Or only for android? On the ios connect app this menu point is not there (or not visible for me)

    This is how it is designed to work on iOS. Settings for individual apps directly in Garmin Connect are available only on Android. However, in both cases, the settings apply to all devices connected to the respective GC account. If you wish receiving notifications only on the watch, while no notifications on Edge, then you can indeed disable the option Smart Notifications in the Device Settings for Edge, but if you want to receive some, and others not, and you want it differently than on the watch, then the only solution is connecting each of the devices to a separate Garmin Connect account.

    Thanks for all the help. I will then just turn of emaiö notification and life with the fact that this applies for my fenix and edge. Maybe garmin develops for iOS also a solution to individually set on the connect page which app can send notification to the devices.
