Body battery has never updated - ios

I have a vivofit 4 and I don’t take it off but the body battery is always blank and says not enough data. I’ve had this particular watch for almost 6 months.
Any idea what could be wrong? Any suggestions for what settings I need to check?

Vivofit 4 does not support the feature of Body Battery, hence no options can help. You need a different device. The list of devices compatible with the BB feature is available at Body Battery Frequently Asked Questions | Garmin Customer Support
