I am having issues installing the Qantas Wellbeing App and selecting Garmin for counting steps. It seems to open a Garmin Connect app and wants me to install the Connect App, but it is already installed. Please help!

According to this page you should select Garmin Connect as data source: https://insurance.qantas.com/help-and-support/wellbeing-tracking-your-activities/can-i-use-garmin-to-track-my-activity
Thank you @e7andy I appreciate the prompt reply. I have been through that process. The issue is that when I select steps it takes me to a screen to download the Garmin Connect App. I already have it installed and working. It seems all I can do is cancel it and then the syncing symbol cancels and has a red exclamation mark to indicate the sync hasn't been successful. It seems to halt the process of installation and use of the app.
