Walking inside a flat

Hello everyone.

I have a ForeRunner 255 Music.

If I walk inside a flat, do I have to select / choose "Inside walking" or "walking" please ?
Sometimes, the time resulting to that inside walking is "00:00".
For example, when I go to my mailbox (2 floors down).

What should I do please ?

Just walking around in your flat or to the mailbox is usually not logged, but if you really want to log it then log it as indoor walking or walking with GPS turned off.

The timer counts from when you start the logging until you stop, unless you got auto pause active.

Check the elapsed time. It is unaffected by auto pause.

I do recognize that is so stupid to take into account a "2 floors" walk or climb.
Most of the time, I walk or run outside.

I don't know if autopause is active or not.
When I run, I have an auto-lap active.

I have asked another question.

Activity settings. Select the activity, hold middle left button (UP) and find the setting.

Ah, OK ! "Auto-pause" is off.
Should I change this to "on" ?

It depends on how you want it. I never use auto pause. My training doesn't stop because I'm standing still during my training.
