Garmin Connect, Garmin Edge, and Training Peaks

Hi all, I know this won't make one bit of difference, but I need to vent for a moment. I have tried working with the Garmin 'coach' plans on iOS, as well as online, to prepare for a cycling event in April. After creating a plan, I thought it would be uploaded to my Garmin Edge 830. Nope. Time and again, I have attempted to sync my devices to no avail. Then yesterday, out of curiosity, I created a TrainingPeaks account and it offered to send me 'sample workouts' to my Garmin account devices. Low and behold, when I turned on and synced my Garmin Edge this morning, there was the TrainingPeaks plan...but NOT the Garmin Coach plan. Seriously? This multibillion dollar company can't get its own devices to sync with each other but a third party can? What the *** are we paying for as customers? These are definitely the last Garmin devices I plan on purchasing. Anyone I've spoken to that has a Garmin device complains about the same issues and Garmin just seemingly does nothing about them. And this doesn't even include the half dozen different messages Garmin software provides to the end user regarding training status, sleep, HRV, training plan, etc.: there's no way to get them all synced so each metric doesn't tell you to do something different on a particular day? Very frustrating!
