Does/can the Body Battery aggregate data from two devices?

I’ve been wearing a Venu watch for years and recently upgraded to a Venu 3. I also recently switch from a Pioneer cycling head unit to a Garmin Edge 1030 Plus. I was hoping the combination of the two would give me a 24hr picture of my fitness and overall health.

It seems that, while I am riding my bike (and not wearing my Venu 3), the Body Battery function doesn’t integrate any of the data captured from my Edge 1030- which includes HR and power.

Should I be wearing my Venu watch while riding to have a full 24hr data capture? I’d hope not.

  • Edge 1030 does not support the feature of Body Battery at all (resp. no other Edge either), hence cannot contribute to the Body Battery value on the Primary Wearable Device. Besides that Body Battery is currently not shared among devices, and always comes from the PWD, even if you use multiple devices supporting the feature (though that may change in the future).
