events and activities not showing on correct day

On the month view all my future events are highlighted on the correct day, however when going into the day view the events show up on the prev day (but with the correct day/time details).

  • I am looking at my activities in the calendar view of the Garmin Connect app. If I look at yesterday, when I know what I did, it shows no activities. In fact, what it shows matches what I#ve done today so far. If I then go back to the day before, it shows what I did yesterday which was about 19k steps and a 7+km run. However if I go through activities and then click running, I see that the most recent run I did was yesterday.

In addition, if I keep clicking back through the calendar, I can see that each day shows the activities that actually happened one day later, e.g. I see Monday's activities on Sunday, Tuesday's activities on Monday, and so on.

Also, when I look at the whole month, it looks correct. So I didn't do any activities on Sunday and that shows. I did activities on Monday - Wed and that shows. It's just that when I click any of those days, I see the wrong day's activities.

I saw an article that suggested going onto the site and updating my upload time zone. I did that and nothing has changed. In any case, the old timezone was correct, just for the wrong region.

  • Also, online the calendar shows everything in the correct date. It's only in the calendar view of the mobile app.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and that didn't work

  • I've also worked out when this started: 28 October which was the date the clocks moved back in the UK. You appear to have a defect

  • My workouts are not showing on the correct day, they are a day behind

  • I'm getting this too, since Wednesday (6th November) but the incorrect days only start from Monday 28th October, where the actual Monday activity is missing, but Tuesday's (29 Oct) activities are in there. The online Garmin Connect has the correct info

  • I take it no one knows how to put this right?? Everything seems to be a day behind and no knows how to put it right??? What sort of forum is this?? ???

  • I’d say it’s one that Garmin themselves don’t read. It seems to me that it *may* be connected with the month change from October to November, but who knows?

  • Everything seems to be a day behind and no knows how to put it right ⁇

Either nobody else is experiencing the problem and that is my case too, or they do not know how to change it. I recommend reaching out to the Support.

  • I have now emailed. Garmin with the problem, will see if I get a reply

  • Glad I found this, thought I was going mad. Have checked with a couple of friends and they have the same issue. Have removed the app and reinstalled it but still no joy. Mine started going wrong after October 27th when the clocks changed in the UK ( UK Based)
