App Version 5.6.0.22 News feed takes more than 6 sec to load the map

Since the last update to Garmin Connect App Version 5.6.0.22 the News feed takes more than 6 sec to load the map with the route.

I am the only one with iOS 18.0.1 on iPhone 15pro with this behavior?

I bet that among the multi millions of users, there will be many others on a connection slow as yours, or even much slower…

I bet that among the multi millions of users, there will be many others on a connection slow as yours, or even much slower, but in my case the map loads within 1s. You can try switching the map source from Google to Apple maps (or vice versa), but it is possible it is only used for the maps on the Activity screens. Not sure whether the setting applies to the News Feed too.

Hi thanks, iI switched to Apple Maps. It applies ti the News Feed too an it’s faster loading now. Regards Paul
