Cannot enter Device/User settings

Until Thursday I had had an Edge 530 and and Enduro paired to GC. On Thursday I paired an Enduro 2, too, and made it the Primary Wearable and Primary Training Device.

When I had the Edge and Enduro it was possible to enter User Settings following the Garmin Devices/ <device> / User settings sequence.

But after I added Enduro 2 I cannot enter User settings if the device is Enduro.  I mean the “running guy” is running for the eternity” and I get no messages at all.

I guess it is a bug.

Has anyone experienced it?

And please do not tell me to a hard reset with Enduro, because I did it appr. a week ago due to an unrelated issue.

  • for context i have a fenix 6 pro, v27.00, garmin app v5.6.0.22

    Updated the app today and everything else works fine. Trying to get into user settings but results in an infinite load screen. Anyone else having this issue?

    top right -> Fenix 6 (or whatever device) -> User settings 

  • Garmin Fenix 6X Sapphire, software version 27.00, Garmin Connect iOS v. 5.6 (updated a couple of days ago). Can’t get into user settings, it appears like it loads forever..

  • Personally, I have no such problems, but in your place I'd report it to the Support, wait for the next update of the app, and in the time being would change the settings directly on the watch.

  • I guess you also have two watches, dont you? Just to compare apples to apples.

    In the meantime I figured out that in GC web I can still modify my user settings for Enduro 1 on the "user settings" tab..

    On the other hand in GC web there is no way to modify user settings for Enduro 2. Actually there is no "user settings tab", just a ""device settings" tab. On the other hand there is  a  meassage on the "Device settings" tab saying "Use the GC app to manage your device settings".

    Yes, indeed, I do have more watches.

    Recent generations of watches can be configured only from the app, or directly on the device, no more on the web.

  • I’m having the same issue. Glad I’m not the only one now.

  • I've reported this to garmin support and they're tracking on it now. I made sure to mention that we have the same watch, same software and same app version. 

  • Thanks, the problem appeared after their latest connect app update (iOS).

    I am having the same issues. Until recently, I could view my HRZs on the iPhone in the GC app under the User Settings. Now, all I can view is the Garmin Running Man.

    I forgot to mention that I reported it to  them via email on Friday, and am really  curious whether a real case would open. I am a bit scepticel having a 1.5 decade of email conversations with them. And it is so tiresome to go through their protocol meaning that typically the first advice is to do X as a potential fix after you wrote in your bug report that you had already tried X.
