gcmsync error domain

after updating my phone to ios18, it does not upload my data to the garmin connect app, and the app does not connect with my watch. I don't like this situation at all.I have to plug my watch into my computer every time to review my data. i want the situation to be resolved

  • I'd reinstall the Garmin Connect app. Make sure when logging back in to use your original Garmin account. Then if still not working, if your watch is listed in the app under More > Garmin Devices. Select your watch > select the 3 dots > Remove Device. Then "forget" the watch within the Bluetooth settings on your phone

    Because of the "gcmsync" error, if you have Garmin Connect IQ app installed, either force close or uninstall it.

    Restart the watch and the phone.

    Then on your watch go to Connectivity > Phone > Pair Phone. Then add the watch using the Garmin Connect app. 

    If nothing works, contact Garmin Product Support directly through their website at https://support.garmin.com. Phone call or text for the most immediate response.
