Garmin connect - training effect & load

Hello,

I have a question related to Training effect & training load.

When Im uploading activity to GC manually - for example from other watch, using RunGap app or import file, there is no training effect & load calculated for this activity in GC.

Is that bug or feature?

For example in Coros portal when I upload activity from garmin watch, Im able to see effect & load calculated based on imported data.

What is your experience?

I thought that I can use GC as one portal for all activities.

Use your watch. It was designed for it.

It is the Garmin devices that calculates those values. No calculations are done in Garmin Connect.

It is a feature. Garmin has tens of millions of customers, if their servers had to make all the processing that is currently done on the watches, the costs of their data centers would explode by an order of magnitude (or two, perhaps three).

I thought so.

:-( I cant used any other watch, if I would like to have TE & TL take into account.

Polar, Coros do it… dont think that this is the reason. But what should we do … mhm
