Dear Garmin Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am a Garmin user and a fan of your cycling products, but I, along with many other users in the Garmin community, have encountered a limitation that we feel could be improved to enhance our overall experience.
Many of us own multiple bikes, such as road, gravel, mountain, and commuter bikes, and use different activity profiles (e.g., Road Cycling, Gravel Cycling, Mountain Biking, etc.) to track these specific rides. However, Garmin Connect currently does not allow us to assign a specific bike (as gear) to each cycling activity profile. Instead, we can only set one bike for all cycling activities and must manually change it in Garmin Connect after each ride. This makes it difficult to keep track of mileage, service schedules, and maintenance for multiple bikes.
We kindly request the addition of a feature that would allow users to assign specific gear (bikes) to different activity profiles (e.g., Bike1 to "MTB", Bike2 to "Road Cycling"). This would greatly benefit those of us who track multiple bikes and engage in various types of cycling, making it easier to monitor mileage and maintenance schedules separately for each bike.
Could you please let me know how I can officially raise it as feature request?
