Is this me or is the app wrong?
i ran Tues/Thurs but app recorded Mon / Wed. Are there settings I should be changing to fix this?

I recommend reaching out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com. Garmin staff rarely intervenes here on this forum.
In French version, chat is not available (there is a button when you click -> not available), I did not find mail option and only call is available. Anyhow, for the second day Garmin Connect iOS reports properly the week day. The day name is aligned with date and activities. let's see if it is confirmed.
