How to delete a course from the Garmin device.

Hi- have you had success deleting a course from the Garmin device?  I was able to delete from the Garmin Connect app but can't get the course off the device.  Courses on the app and device do not match, of sync but syncing doesn't help. Thanks for your help.

    Which Garmin do you have? 2 options:

    • If you can connect your Garmin to a computer, you can open file explorer and delete the course located at \GARMIN\Courses.
    • Otherwise, depending on your model of device, press Start/Stop, select a GPS enabled activity (Run, Bike, etc.), up button, Navigate, Courses. Select the course you want to delete, select Delete. So basically, instead of "Do Course," select "Delete."

    1. Hi thanks for your reply . The model is Forerunner265s. With  Garmin\Courses it appears to connect to the app.  The courses are deleted in the app but still show on the watch. On the watch, I can find the course -Bike- Navigation -but I can’t find the delete. I can only start the course.  Specifically where is the delete in the watch?  Thanks.

    Yes, that's how it works. Syncing is only from the watch to the app, not the other way around.

    To delete a course on your Garmin Forerunner 265, follow these steps:

    1. Press START.
    2. Select an activity (Run in my case)
    3. Hold UP.
    4. Select Navigation > Courses.
    5. Press START to select a course.
    6. Select an option:To delete the course, select Delete.
