Import activty to watch

Hello!

I was out for a bikerun this morning and saved the activity mid activity and had to start a new activity, now i have two seperate activites on my watch and I really dont like that. I have combined the activites on my computer so thats it is 1 acitivity. Is it any way to import this to my watch so i can have the combined acitivty in my watch instead of the two separate? thanks

Yes, you can place the combined FIT file into the folder //GARMIN/Activity (//GARMIN/NewFiles would work too), but I do not quite understand why would you need to do that that. Frankly told, I practically never consult the history on the watch, so having it combined in Garmin Connect seems to be rather satisfactory to me.

its just me being me wanting it that way, i tried to put the fit file in both locations but when i pull out the charger from the watch the activity still isnt there, is there something im missing?

Possibly the file format. Are you sure it is a regular FIT file? Where did you combine the files?

... also, you may need to remove the original file(s) from the watch when uploading the merged version.
