Unable to pair your Garmin device

I have tried everything to pair my watch and phone app ( turn off both devices, delete and re-up load app, ensure the watch is removed from phone bluetooth). 

Can anyone help me with this?

If the watch is broken do we contact Garmin for a warranty issue?

  • Which watch?

    The general procedure is:

    Make sure the watch is removed from Garmin Connect.

    Make sure the watch is not added to bluetooth devices on the phone or any other phone or tablet that are within bluetooth range.

    Put the watch in pairing mode. Usually something like MENU > Phone > Pair phone

    Open Garmin Connect on the phone and click Add device.

    I ended up chatting online with Garmin support. 

    Somehow I signed back into the App with my other email, not the email I registered the device with. 

    Now, hopefully this tip helps someone else one day who gets confused like I do with emails and passwords : )
