Garmin connect iOS App is huge - why ?

I'm getting low on space on my iPhone, and I've found that the connect app is a whopping 628MB.

Virtually all of it app, not data. Its easily the biggest app on the phone (and I have a lot) excluding data.

Why? It doesn't make any sense - but I've decided to offload it as a result.

Mine takes up 128MB.

And yet people ask more and more features all the time. Send a suggestion to Garmin to create a "light" version of Garmin Connect, with just the rudimentary functionality: Share Ideas | Garmin

Do you mean the backup on iCloud?

mines only 77.2mb.
Just a suggestion but do you have lots of courses for the app to backup
