HR monitor compatibility

Can I connect my Garmin HR monitor to the Tacx training app as well as my Garmin edge830?

Yes, you can. At least as long as you either have a HRM strap supporting Bluetooth (HRM-Pro, HRM-Dual, HRM-Fit), or a phone / tablet / computer with an ANT+ interface (for the older HRMs from Garmin)

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to check out the ANT+ status of my I pad, as it’s an older Hr monitor.
