Edge 820 connects but cannot load course from Garmin Connect

I have Garmin Connect app v 5.1.0.21 and Edge 820 v10. I can send a course from Garmin Connect but it never synchs to the 820.

Is the course of type "Cycling"? Courses of Running, Hiking, or "Other" types won't work for Edge.

It is a cycling course downloaded from Ride With GPS and shows up in the Garmin Connect App. 820 is set for Cycling course. .

OK, but does it really show there up as a "Cycling" course? If so, what happens when you send it to the device with the help of GC Web + Garmin Express? Do you get any error message?

It shows as "Road Cycling" in Connect. I've not tried Garmin Express, but I'm loading it now.

It Works! had to load Garmin Express to get it to transfer.
