I purchased my vivoactive 5. how do I download the dialy information to an app such as strava or something else

First you connect it to the app Garmin Connect. That is the way to get data from the watch.

You can then connect Garmin Connect to other services like Strava.

Thank You for your help. i used to have a apple watch and track with the Garmin is quite different. your advise got me on the right track.
