My training status has stopped working since Friday. The last update stated it was productive but since then it is saying there is no data? I have disconnected and reconnected my Garmin forerunner 945 but it has made no difference at all

Restart watch.
Check 7d load on the watch.
Only running outdoors and biking on a bike with power meter will give you VO2 max values. Note that you must reach 70% of max HR for 10-20 minutes continuously to get a VO2 max value.
I’ve restarted my watch and there’s been no change
I’ve checked my watch and all training is on there. Outdoor runs, indoor runs, gym sessions etc most of my training is between 45mins to one hour and a half long
Do you see any training load on the watch? You need training load and VO2 max values to get a training status. Restarting watch will likely not solve the issue now, but can make it work for the future workouts.
Training load and VO2 max are on there, I’m not able to go to the gym today but I’ll wait for my next workout and see if it changes. Just annoying after it was showing productive on Friday and after two further days of training there is now nothing showing.
Strength will not give you any new VO2 max values so it shouldn't affect anything unless it is missing training load that is the issue.
This is a good page for training status: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report/-1/all/last_four_weeks
What does your VO2 max, exercise load and 7-day training load look like?
Example:
There hasn't been any new VO2 max values for 15 days. About two weeks with no new values usually make you lose the training status. At least 1-2 values per week is needed for you to keep the training status.
Would the heat have done this? I have still been training?
To get VO2 max values you must either run outdoors or bike on a bike with a power meter. Since you only got running VO2 max values I assume you don't have a bike with a power meter. Then the only activity that counts is outdoor running. To get a VO2 max value you must reach 70% of max HR for 10 minutes continuously. So, if you do intervals then you will only get a VO2 max value if your intervals are longer than 10 minutes.
Heat should increase the HR so it should give you new values.
So for the passed two weeks I haven’t done intervals due to a tapering week prior to a triathlon and just building up my running again. So I won’t get a training status based on runs if they are just long steady runs
