Venu watch - nothing being tracked

Nothing is being tracked on my Venu garmin watch. It’s been a while since I wore it last and finally started again and nothing is tracked or recorded. I even manually turned on cardio tracking for a specific activity. The watch confirmed the activity was tracked and saved, but when I came to Connect to view it, nothing was there. Each day I might see steps recorded, but none of it is saved/stored. It’s been 2 weeks now and each day any steps, calories, activity and so on shows blank on the app. I’ve turned it on/off again. I’ve reinstalled apps, I’ve looked for any updates. Nothing is working. Not sure what else to do.

Has anyone had this problem, if so, did you find a fix?

    What about Garmin Connect Web? That would at least tell you if data is being synced. If you've recorded any activities, they should show up here - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities

  • Doesn’t show up in either of those places. The second link only shows the activity from before I stopped wearing it. So weird.

    Then I would suggest the possibility that you've logged in with a different Garmin account to the app, the web, or Garmin Express.

    How does this happen?

    • On GC mobile app logged in as a new account rather than existing account. Often happens when reinstalling the app or installing the app on a new phone
    • Installed Garmin Express, used different credentials to sync activities rather than existing account
    • Logged into Garmin Connect Web with a new account, rather than existing account.
  • This is interesting. I do get calls from my phone to my watch. Is that a good indicator that this is not the issue? I read the article, but I have very separate emails used for specific things. This is one of them. Just went thru all other emails to make sure I didn’t have another account made. Still nothing. By the way, really do appreciate all your efforts to help here.

  • Figured it out…whew, finally! Turns out I’ve had the wrong date. I updated the time, just didn’t think about checking the date. And my watch face only shows the time Face palm. Glad i got that worked out. Now to track it on the right days. She’s. Thanks again for your insights,
