Trail shoes and normal shoes on connect

I run road and trail so i naturally have a pair of each. It’s frustrating that connect cant detect that i use trail running shoes for a trail running activity and road running shoes for road running activities. Strava (reading from garmin data) can do this, but i have to manually adjust on connect? Seems silly

It is a long standing request. If you search the forum you will find lots of threads with exactly the same content. And I agree, from the outside it looks like quite a simple change, especially given the fact that others (e.g. Strava) have implemented it.

As this is primarily a user to user forum another thread isn't helping.

You need to request this via Share Ideas | Garmin

Thanks! I'm new to the forum so I didn't realise this was user to user, I'll request it on the ideas page.
