Garmin connect don't load data from HRM+

Hello, I have run into problem to sync my HRM+ data to Garmin Connect since last monday, about 14h of data that doesn't sync. It happened in September last year as well after only one month with the HRM and then I got a replacement delivered to me. The thing is that the two other apps I use, Strava and Zwift recognize and colelct the data correctly as it seems form the HRM, it's only the Connect app that doesn't receive the data when I try to sync. It tries to sync but it spins very fast and can't fin any data.

Is it the HRM that is faulty or is it something with the app?

  • How is the HRM connected? Is it directly added to Garmin Connect? Do you also have watch? If it is activity data you want from the HRM you must add it as a sensor to a watch or bike computer and use that. If it is directly added to Garmin Connect only activity tracking data will be used. Heart rate, calories, intensity minutes, and step data. That data will not be added to any activities.

    Strava and Zwift will use the HRM in real time as a sensor to get the data.

  • well, I have only connected it straight to the connect app, so what I mean with "data" is only the heart rate and steps. so I find it weird that it disapear and have happened with two different HRM's now.. But else I will get rid of the connect app and only keep the real time tracking in the other apps as they works as they should do as luck.

  • Try removing it and adding it again.
