Losing steps when syncing since new update.

My secondary device is now losing steps and syncing down to what is already on the app. I have three devices o have been able to switch between at will and they have always synced to the app in turn. Now I can only get credit for the primary device. The other two lose steps -sync backwards. Any help will be great! Thanks 

after talking with support who assured me it is because I need to change my primary device setting ( even though I have NEVER had to do that before) I tried it. When I synced to the app both the vivoport and the forerunner lost the steps and my count went back to the last forerunner sync. So it's a Vivosport/app update issue. 

I'm just  hoping I can get the forerunner steps to sync properly at this point.
