API Garmin

Hello everybody!
I'm trying to use the Garmin API to send training schedules to the user's device, but with data generated directly from our application, hence the idea of using the API. However, I have not yet understood where to obtain the USER-ID, which is necessary for successful execution. I suspect it must be through Garmin Connection or Garmin Express, but I haven't been able to get this clarification yet, especially because I don't have a Garmin device on hand to connect via USB or Bluetooth. Can anyone help me with this?

I assume you already have access to the Training API, and have access to the documentation. If not, you can request the access at https://developer.garmin.com/gc-developer-program/training-api/

If you just need a user-id, then create a Garmin Connect account. I may be wrong (it is a long time I did it), but I do not think you need a Garmin device for that. If really so, then just borrow a Garmin device for 5 minutes from a friend, or at a local store.
