I ran during the outage and my activity won’t sync

I went for a run today. It is saved on my watch but won’t sub to Garmin connect. When I finished the app said they were experiencing an outage. Once that was resolved my activity still has not synced. I have removed and re-added my device, uninstalled and re-installed the app. Still not syncing.

  • Do a manual upload from your Garmin device to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

    If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

    • Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
    • Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDriveGoogle DriveDropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

  • Same thing happened to me. Now I’m also noticing that no data was captured during most of the day yesterday- including heart rate. Overnight it did not record my sleep despite sleeping for 7 hours. 
    I downloaded the new software update and rebooted my watch and did a manual sync but no information showing up. Also my run from yesterday did not sync either.
