Fenix 5Plus not syncing with Connect since update to v5.0

Since the update to V5.0 of Garmin Connect, my iPhone keeps dropping the connection to my Fenix 5plus.  I have deleted it from the app and deleted my phone from the device.  I have done a soft reset of the Fenix and I have disabled and re-enabled Bluetooth on both device and iPhone.  Each time I can get it to connect as a new Device, but then the next day it drops the connection again and I have to start again.

Getting rather fed up of this now - anyone else facing similar issues?
