I walked more than 3miles in the weekend challenge and yet didn’t receive the badge. Have a hard time understanding why??

Please share a link to the walk activity. Did you explicitly join the challenge before the walk? Also, did you notice hat the Weekend Walking Challenge was a week ago, and not this weekend?
